Family and integrity are two of the most important concepts Ryan utilizes in both his personal and professional life. With a customer list across Canada and the U.S., Ryan provides auction services for family-based businesses with honesty and morals of top priority. Ryan credits much of his passion to both his late grandfather Louis Latimer, a well-known purebred Polled Hereford, Angus, Gelbvieh and Shorthorn breeder, and extended family who are also successful seedstock producers. Situated north of Calgary, Alberta, Ryan enjoys many hours playing hockey with his two sons, Dalton and Tucker. During the summer months, Ryan and his wife Cassie enjoy running a group of premier commercial bred heifers, marketed in groups in the fall to top-cattlemen across Canada. Ryan believes in the auction system and has helped multi-generations of customers reach their sale goals by creating enthusiasm in a bidding system recognized as the premier method around the world for selling valuables.
Growing up in the cattle business, Cassie always enjoyed the excitement of attending sales, however, married into the auction business in 2012, she now enjoys the brand development that goes into creating the auctions just as much as the auction day itself. With the creation of the Dorran Marketing Inc. company, the couple decided to offer hands-on marketing for their clients under one roof – photography, videography, social media campaigns, web design and print marketing. The relationships built through their customer base is what drives Cassie every day to create and provide brand imagery that can be trusted for results. Cassie maintains the office for the business and keeps quite busy with their two young sons, always laughing at their personalities that come through more each day.
